37797 with the Hays Chemicals to Warrington Arpley service crosses the canal bridge on 13 June 2002. This location was the junction for the St. Helens to Rainford branch.

POCKET NOOK JUNCTION:

31439 passes the site of the junction with a Liverpool-bound service on 26 May 1995. Gerards Bridge Junction is out of sight, just beyond the rear of the train.
