St. Helens Junction.

A look at the station, and nearby locations.

The station was formerly the junction for the branch line to St. Helens (Shaw Street - now renamed St. Helens Central). The branch passenger service was withdrawn in 1965, but the line remained in use for freight until the 1990's.

Bold Power Station & Bold Colliery were located on the right, served by extensive sidings, all now removed.
