This page links you to photographs of buses belonging to Town & City Councils. Only a minority of former municipal operators continue to exist in a recognisable form. Some are still owned by councils, whilst others were sold to their management & staff and have successfully resisted a sale to larger groups. Sadly, however, many have disappeared completely. An initial selection of photos appears below. More photos from Warrington will hopefully be added during February 2005. Other munipical operators will also be featured sometimes, but some of the present selection will need to be removed - my available webspace is limited.
