The CLC Line 2:- Manchester & Chester.

The Cheshire Lines Committee (CLC) was a joint railway managed by the Great Central, Great Northern & Midland Railways, and after 1923 by the LNER & LMSR. This pages features parts of the line which originally ran from Manchester Central to Chester Northgate via Northwich. At the Manchester end, much of the track formation is now used by Metrolink. At the Chester end, the section from Mickle Trafford to Northgate is closed, and trains use Chester ( formerly Chester General) station. More photos. from this line later this year.
