LIVERPOOL CORPORATION TRANSPORT.
Liverpool Corporation became part of Merseyside PTE in 1968, too early for me to afford to take many colour photographs, but fortunately most retained Liverpool livery for several years. Some of the buses shown below are in non-standard liveries, and include driver-training buses that were no longer used in passenger service. Some of the bus bodies were assembled at Edge Lane works using components supplied by body builders such as Crossley.
Note - some photos have suffered slightly from trying to "stop" motion on a dull day with 25 ISO slide film.
