St. Helens is located in the real county of Lancashire, about 10 miles east of Liverpool and 20 miles west of Manchester. This site consists mainly of photographs of railway and bus subjects. Separate index pages are provided for the rail and bus pages.

To try and speed loading, the site is split into separate pages, each covering a specific area or topic. Also, some image quality has been sacrificed by using highly compressed images, rather than use large files that take ages to load.
I aim to change at least one page each month, except in Summer, when I am often too busy taking more photographs or travelling.
